PAH-FEST:Motown 2007
July 16-22 in Livonia, Michigan
This summer the Motor City hosted one of the most exciting events to come out of Hollywood since Ben-Hur. Project Accessible Hollywood (PAH) brought its caravan of innovation and talent development to Madonna University for "PAH-FEST Motown".
PAH is the brainchild of Hollywood family member Christopher Coppola, brother to academy award winning screen actor Nicholas Cage and nephew of academy award winning director Francis Ford Coppola. Unlike his Southern California Limelight lineage, Christopher prefers to seek out the untold stories that would otherwise whither and die without a broad audience to hear them. Traveling further down the road as yet less taken, Coppola also utilizes only cutting edge digital technology to gather and distribute these tales from the everyday and little known.

Storytelling: Josh White Jr.
Storytellers have shaped our societies and the way we think for all of recorded history, and before that to the days of cave paintings. As we celebrate the technology that now allows us to share our stories worldwide we take a step back and look at our past and a more traditional way of sharing a tale; through song. Josh White, Jr. is renowned as an interpreter of American folk song and also as a songwriter and actor on- and off-Broadway, bringing these skills to his concerts and workshops. His nine solo albums include a collection of contemporary songs specially written for "single-digit people", as Josh refers to his audience of children, and a tribute album to his father - House of the Rising Son. Josh will be here to share story through song and remind us of our past as we look forward at our digital future.
