miniPAH: WFC 2008

January 27-29 in ELKO, NEVADA

Happy New Year! Christopher Coppola’s PAH-FEST kicks off 2008 in Elko, NV, where we will return to present miniPAH: WFC during the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering (Jan 27-29). We are pleased to be working, again, with the Western Folklife Center and Great Basin College to make it happen. The three-day festival will focus on cowboy and ranching themes and will include three events:

Festival Features

Circus Vision:

A visual treasure hunt for kids 14 and under, this event provides children with smart phones to shoot a 2 minute piece, capturing a list of visual ingredients related to circus theme.

Cell Phone Art:

Using a video-enabled cell phone, participants shoot a 1 minute piece on a topic Christopher announces related to cowboys, poetry and ranchers.

DigiPortraits:

Using any digital tool, participants shoot a 2-minute portrait of themselves or of someone else.
