Digital Amnesty Award

PAH NATION's Digital Amnesty wants to provide a second chance for art by the people to be seen and heard all over the world. It doesn't matter when you made it as long as it was made digitally and it is 7 minutes or less.

Mobiflicks Competition

Do you have a story idea that would make a great short film? One with local flair and a regional interest? Submit it to the Mobiflicks Competition, and if your story is chosen, you and your team will be invited to PAH-FEST to make your 6 minute movie during the festival.

Cellphone Art

Shoot a one minute piece of video using a video-enabled cell phone or one provided. A surprise topic will be given before the contest and the contestants will have just a few hours to create their piece.

DigiPortraits

This contest will feature a short video portrait of you or another person. B.Y.O.G. (Bring Your Own Gear) or use equipment we provide for you — including an Adobe editing system.

Circus Vision Challenge:

Smart Phone Contest for Smart Kids

A visual treasure hunt for kids 14 and under, this event provides children with smart phones to shoot a 2 minute piece, capturing a list of visual ingredients related to a circus theme.

Cellular Tone Poems:

Smart Phone Contest Musicians

Using a video-enabled cell phone, participants record imagery that visually expresses an original musical composition. Computers, editing software and technical support are provided to help participants edit and complete their pieces.

"Keeping the Torch Lit" Award

Each year during PAH-FEST, PAH NATION honors an individual of distinctive vision. Dubbed the "Keeping the Torch Lit Award", this Honoree has created a compelling and significant body of work that exemplifies both a spirit of strong individuality and a commitment to the greater human spirit.

The Bugsy Khan Award

In honor of Bugsy Siegel and Genghis Kahn, this award will go to a festival participant who best embodies the spirit of the PAH-Fest: Looking Forward Without Fear.  The recipient will be determined by the mythical Old Man PAH.
